Definition

Indicates the type of Belcotax declaration to be generated.

Use

You use this field to choose the type of Belcotax declaration to prepare, as follows:

  • Original declaration
  • Global update
A global update deletes and replaces the entire previous declaration. The value in the Nature of file (0.025) field is 0 (normal transmission).
  • Selected update
A selected update processes only those fiches that have been updated. As a result, some parts of the declaration are replaced, particularly the 281.XX fiches. The value in the Nature of file (0.025) field is 1 (corrective transmission refers to previous transmission). A selected update also impacts the values of fields 1.010, 0.026, and 2.028
  • Regularization
Prepares a Belcotax declaration with regularized data, that is, comparing the original fiche with the payroll data of the last payroll retrocaculation. As a result of this comparison, the differences are declared in fiche 281.25. If this declaration type is selected, the Include regularized data checkbox is not available for selection

Dependencies

Example

Consider the following example:

  • Income year: an original declaration is created for the income year, and includes updates that occur until August 31 (year+1)
  • Regularization: If there is a correction after September 1, then a declaration with regularized data is required so that the negative differences from the original declaration are declared
  • Succeeding year: When the declaration for the following income year (year+1) is required, then the regularization declaration is not required because the retrocalculations for the income year are included in the declaration processing (during the year+1)
Note: This is why it is not possible to select the Include regularized data checkbox (and include fiches already sent) if you have chosen to generate a regularization declaration.
