Definition
Indicates the start date of the Activa allowance entitlement.
Use
You determine the allowance start date with reference to the employee's job card. Job cards are issued by the National Employment Office (ONEM/ RVA) and include the job card code, and the validity period (duration) of the associated social insurance benefits. The allowance start date is the first hiring date that is within the validity dates defined on the job card.
Activa allowance start dates are defined using the Activate Activa Allowance Texts Customizing activity. The allowance start date is one of many conditions that can be specified for an Activa allowance.
Note: The allowance start date can be different to the employee's hire date.
Dependencies
The allowance start data is evaluated by the Get Year of Allowance (HR_BE_PAY_GET_YEAR_OF_ALLOW) function module. Since an employee can be rehired, or work in several companies, the function does not take into account the hiring date of the employee but only the allowance start date. The function module uses the conditions defined in the Define Activa Allowance Conditions Customizing activity.
