Definition

This is the code for a validation rule list.

Use

The validation rule list creates a list of validation rules to be checked at a given point of processing. Note that rule lists do not need to be maintained for Central Personnel Data File (CPDF) edits because the inclusion of those rules is determined by the 'Rule Usage' maintained for those rules. If you want to use those rules in a different setting, you can still included them in a rule list.

If a rule is included, then the version of the rule that is checked is the version that is effective on the specified effective date.

Example

You can assign any name to the validation rule list that is within your customer name range.
