Documentation
Definition
The entry in this field represents a subtype of the Certification and Licensing infotype (0795). Each valid subtype consists of a combination of one certificate type and one issuing authority.
In Customizing for Payroll USA (PY-US), you configure these levels by choosing Supplements Public Sector US -> Certification and Licensing -> Settings -> Certificates and Licenses -> Define Certificate and License Categories (Infotype 0795 Subtypes).
Example
In an academic workplace, County-Issued Professional Certificate, County-Issued Temporary Certificate, or State-Issued Lifetime Certificate could all be valid subtypes for teachers.
In a medical workplace, valid subtypes could include State-Licensed Nurse or Board-Licensed Physician and Surgeon.
Note
The Certification and Licensing infotype (0795) features a constraint that permits only one record of the infotype to be valid at a time. Time gaps between valid records are, however, permitted.
The key fields to which this validity constraint is applied are this field and the Identification field.
