Definition
In the U.S. federal government, some employees receive an extra pay percentage based on the locality in which they work.
Use
The entry for low percentage is used to return the percentage when there is an exact percentage to be paid to an employee, or the low end of the range when there is a range of pay that is possible.
Dependencies
Example
As of January 2005, a GS employee working in the locality area of AT (Atlanta Area) is eligible for a locality percentage rate of 13.87. In the table, the entry for this field would be 13.87.
