Documentation
Definition
This checkbox determines whether unused balances of donations from other employees (or portions thereof) will be returned to inactive donor employees.
Four employment statuses are defined in the system within the Actions infotype (0000), namely:
- 0 - Withdrawn - The employee has departed the organization.
- 1 - Inactive - The employee is inactive, but remains with the organization.
- 2 - Retiree - The employee is retired, but remains with the organization.
- 3 - Active- The employee is actively working for the organization.
If an unused balance exists for a donation from another employee, then the system, by default, will return this balance (or portion thereof) to Active employees and forfeit this balance (or portion thereof) for Withdrawn or Retiree employees. The setting you perform in this checkbox determines whether the system will return this balance (or portion thereof) to Inactive employees, or whether the balance (or portion thereof) will be forfeited.
Use
If unused donation balances (or portions thereof) are to be returned to inactive employees, then select this checkbox.

Example
Note
The actual amount that is ultimately returned to donor employees (both active and inactive) depends upon the setting (if any) that you perform in the Return Increment field.
