Definition
The technical type for a field in a validation field group.
Use
The type of a field is used for the dropdown (F4) help in the validation tool, and to determine the default text for the field. This type must refer to a field, and not a structure or table type.
Dependencies
If you are creating a field group that will be attached to a validation with another field group, be sure that any fields with the same technical name have the same type. An error will be raised if there is an attempt to attach two field groups with a field with the same technical name having different types.
