Definition
The entry in this field contains an arbitrary two-character designation that identifies the type of certificate or license issued to your employee by the corresponding authority.
In Customizing for Payroll USA (PY-US), you configure these designations by choosing Supplements Public Sector US -> Certification and Licensing -> Settings -> Certificates and Licenses -> Define Certificate and License Types.
Example
In an academic workplace, you could configure NP and PT to designate Nonrenewable Professional and Part-Time licenses, respectively.
In a medical workplace, you could configure RN and OB to designate, respectively, Registered Nurse and Licensed Obstetrician.
