Grid Display
Grid Display is an indicator as to whether or not the contents of the file to be generated are to be displayed in a grid format.
Procedure
The data contents in the grid display will be in the order and format prescribed by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for the status and the dynamic files. Viewing the file generated through the grid display may be useful in verifying the data before generating a local file.
Use
The Grid Display may only be used for viewing the status file or the dynamic file, not when the file required is the dynamic record. However, after the dynamic record is created, it may be viewed through the grid display by using the dynamic file option under File Required.
