Definition

This is the legal authority that allows the personnel action defined by the given Nature of Action code to be performed on the employee. The legal authority is linked to a sequence number to allow different texts for the same legal autority code.

To correctly maintain the legal authority, one must maintain both the correct legal authority code and the correct sequence number. The legal authority codes must be defined in the IMG.
