Definition
This field determines the number of days that is allowed to elapse between regular dispatches of answer letters to the originator. For example, if this field contains the entry 28, then an answer letter will be sent to the originator every four weeks.
This field is used in tandem with the Send answ. field (at left) and the First reply field (below). If the correct value is selected in the Send answ. field, then answer letters will be dispatched to the originator in a regular cycle of elapsed days. If a date is set forth in the First reply field, then the cycle of elapsed days will commence on that date.
