Definition
Selecting 'X' as the return value for the feature GOFFP implies that the amount of OPP that is offset against SPP is maximised.
i.e. if OPP is £100 and SPP is £100 and Full Pay is £100 then maximising the offset has no effect as the full amount of OPP must be offset to avoid overpaying the employee. So £0.00 OPP is paid and £100.00 SPP is paid.
i.e. if OPP is £100 and SPP is £100 and Full Pay is £200 then maximising the offset has huge effect as the full amount of SPP will be offset. So only £100 OPP is paid and £0.00 SPP is paid.
i.e. if OPP is £100 and SPP is £100 and Full Pay is £200 then minimising the offset has huge effect as none of the SPP will be offset. So £100 OPP is paid and £100 SPP is paid.
i.e. if OPP is £0 and SPP is £100 and Full Pay is £100 then maximising the offset has no effect as none of the SPP must be offset as the employee must receive SPP. So £100 SPP is paid.
