Definition
This field is simply a "Filler" to pad the submark to 20 characters.
The MAXIMUM number of submarks is 5. If any client regularly records more than 4 part day absences per day and uses the "EXACT" method for deriving the Part Day Factor, then they could exceed this maximum.
In that case, the Filler can be removed and forty characters "freed up" to make an extra three 12 character submarks in the mark.
When SSP & SMP processing is included in the mark eventually (5.0A), this field should be removed and the SSP/SMP submark filled. The number of character will definitely be less than 25 (NCALE limit). Probably only 10, if used judicously.
