Tax year for which annual statutory reports are produced
The tax year determines the timeframe for which you would like to run an appropriate report.
Each tax year starts on 6 April and ends on 5 April of the following year. The tax year you refer to when starting the payroll is not necessarily the same tax year you refer to when talking about annual statutory reports.
For example, 01/2006 refers to the period 01.04.2006 - 30.04.2006 for a monthly payroll, but this payroll period relates to tax year ending 2007.

By selecting a tax year, you define the timeframe for which data is read from the database. Once you choose a tax year, you will notice that the field Person selection period appears and is filled. You cannot enter the selection period directly.
