Tax Record details: Start date of new Tax Data GB record
The P45 form for Great Britain (RPCP45GN) report creates a new Tax Data GB (0065) infotype record of tax code BR and splits the existing infotype record into two parts:
- Issue Date of P45
The issue date of the P45 will be determined by the system date when the report is run.
- Creation of new Tax Data GB (0065) infotype record with tax code BR
The P45 form for Great Britain (RPCP45GN) report splits the existing Tax Data GB (0065) infotype record into two partsThe P45 form for Great Britain (RPCP45GN) report delimits the existing Tax Data GB (0065) infotype record and creates a new BR record according to the following options:
- Create the BR record from the day after the pay date of the leaving period
- Create the BR record from the day after the leaving date
- Create the BR record from the issue date
If the start date of the split Tax Data GB (0065) record is in the previous tax year, the Starter's details section of the new record is cleared.
If the P45 program issues a P45 form for an employee who transfers to another PAYE tax reference the new record is created irrespective of your choice on the selection screen either
- on the date of PAYE reference change, or
- on the day after the last payment date included in the P45 form, if the last pay date is later than the date of PAY reference change.
Notes: You must ensure that the new Tax Data GB (0065) record is not created before you process the action to terminate or reassign the employee. For all pay to be included in the P45 form payroll should also have already been run for this employee.
