Definition

Displays the type of XML file that you have to submit to authorities.

This field can have any one of the following values:

  • 1 - This indicates a partial or complete return with one file for all the each schools in Local Authority (LA). If you want the report to generate the SWF census details for a single school, enter the corresponding code of the institution in the Establishment field, . If you want the details of all the schools in LA, leave the Establishment field blank.
  • 2 - This indicates a complete return with one file for each school. If you want the report to generate the SWF census details for a single school, enter the corresponding code of the institution in the Establishment field, Iif you want the details for one school enter a corresponding code number of the institution in the Establishment field. Do not leave this field blank.
  • 3 - This indicates a complete return for centrally employed staff. If you want the complete details of all centrally employed staff from all the schools, leave the Establishment field blank.

Note

A partial return is where data is sourced from more than one system. Note that this does not mean that the data for one school is sent in two parts.
