Output of End-of-Year (EOY) Report (P14/P60/P35) via SAPScript forms
This option allows you to print EOY reporting data via SAPScript technology. The SAPScript forms produced are sent either to the employee (P60) or the Inland Revenue (P14/P35), depending on whether you use Magnetic Media or not. Those employers who use Magnetic Media do not need to submit paper P14 forms to the Inland Revenue.
The EOY report (RPCEOYG0) generates all three forms (P14/P35/P60). You need to provide the SAPScript names for each of the forms.
To search for applicable forms, use the input help (F4) on existing forms and follow the path Payroll: Great Britain -> Statutory Reports -> End of year -> Pxx (where xx is the form number).
Every year SAP provides templates for those forms in the standard delivery. SAP will seek approval from Inland Revenue on those templates derived from the original form.
If you wish to change these forms, copy the standard template and amend it according to your needs.
The names of the templates SAP delivers are (xxxx indicates the year in which the form is to be issued):
- HR_GB_P14_xxxx Inland Revenue P14 template (A4 landscape)
- HR_GB_P60_xxxx Inland Revenue P60 template (A4 landscape)
- HR_GB_P60_xxxx_D Data Mailer P60 template (A4 portrait)
- HR_GB_P35_xxxx Inland Revenue P35 template (A4 portrait)
The default year used in the form name is derived from the current system date (For example, system date 20.10.2005 results in the default form name HR_GB_P14_2005).
Note: The SAPScript output can take a large amount of time to produce, if you are running report RPCEOYG0 for a very large number of employees. Therefore, SAP recommends that you only actually print the forms after you have checked the data.
When running the report from an external data source, you can provide only those data sources from which you actually wish to print off forms. For example, if you want only to print off P60 forms, then only provide the P60 TemSe name.
To check the data for individual employees, you can use this option at anytime during the tax year.
