Definition
The permit number is a reference number allocated to an employer for each discrete return that has to be made. There may be more than one number allocated depending on an employer's individual circumstances. For example, an employer may have one permit number for a monthly payroll subunit and another for both a monthly and a weekly payroll subunit.

Use

Procedure
Please state all permit numbers that have been allocated to you. These will all be included in the end of year report on magnetic media.
