Definition
A 'Part Time' employee is one that is contracted to perform less Days or Hours than is normal for their 'Employee Grouping'.
Normally, these employee's cannot be distinguished simply by their employee grouping or pay scale information. So will recieve EXACTLY the same entitlements as a 'Full Time' employee doing the same job.
This field allows the entitlements of a 'Full Time' employee to be pro-rated.
The options for this are as follows;
1) No pro-rating. i.e Part Timers receive the same as Full Timers.
2) Compare the employee's Contracted Hours (IT0007) and their Standard
Hours (Table T510I) to derive whether the employee is Part Time or
not. If they are Part Time then multiply the Full Entitlement, by
their Contracted Hours and divide by their Standard Hours, rounded
down to the nearest whole integer.
3) Compare the employee's Contracted Hours (IT0007) and their Standard
Hours (Table T510I) to derive whether the employee is Part Time or
not. If they are Part Time then multiply the Full Entitlement, by
their Contracted Days and divide by their Standard Days, rounded
down to the nearest whole integer.
4) Compare the employee's Contracted Days (IT0007) and their Standard
Days (Table T510I) to derive whether the employee is Part Time or
not. If they are Part Time then multiply the Full Entitlement, by
their Contracted Hours and divide by their Standard Hours, rounded
down to the nearest whole integer.
5) Compare the employee's Contracted Days (IT0007) and their Standard
Days (Table T510I) to derive whether the employee is Part Time or
not. If they are Part Time then multiply the Full Entitlement, by
their Contracted Days and divide by their Standard Days, rounded
down to the nearest whole integer.
