Documentation
Short text
Part Day Entitlement Calculation.
Definition
The Part Day Entitlement Calculation defines how much of entitlement is used by a specific Part Day Absence.
Use
The Part Day Entitlement Calculation is held at scheme level so that different schemes (for different employee groups) can use different calculations.
Example
The calculations available as standard are as follows;
BLANK Part Days Not Allowed
1 Half Day if AB [Inc. Breaks] >= (PSP [Inc. Breaks] / 2)
2 Half Day if AB [Inc. Breaks] >= (PSP [Exc. Breaks] / 2)
3 Half Day if AB [Exc. Breaks] >= (PSP [Inc. Breaks] / 2)
4 Half Day if AB [Exc. Breaks] >= (PSP [Exc. Breaks] / 2)
5 Elapsed Hours AB [Inc. Breaks]
6 Elapsed Hours AB [Exc. Breaks]
C Customer Specific
Options 1 - 4 are for clients that calculated and reduce entitlements in days.
Options 5 & 6 are for clients that calculated and reduce entitlements in hours.
Option C is for clients that cannot use options 1 - 6. This option automatically calls the Customer Exit provided (see the related section in the IMG chapter related to Part Days.)
Further notes
If calculation needs to be used for more than one group of employees then use the information passed into the customer exit to make the differentiation between the groups (i.e. IT0000, IT0001 & IT0008)
