Definition
This 2 character field is for defining whether the start/end of the history "window" should be moved to an earlier linked absence start date.
NEW it is now possible to exlude an absence at the start of the history "window".
NEW it is now possible to link Maternities with the same MATB1 (GB Specific).
It is possible that the current start/end of the history "window" occurs during an earlier absence. If this absence is of the SAME type (defined in the field T554S-ABSTY), then specifiying a Linking Period will cause the start of the absence to be used as the start/end of the history "window" instead original start/end of the history "window". This process will be repeated until there is NO linked absence or the start of absence recording is reached for that person.
The possible linking periods available are as follows;
GM GB Maternity (link maternities from the same MATB1)
(Do not use for "How Far Bck/Fwd" Rules only for "From Where" Rules)
X Exclude Absence
(Do not use for "From Where" Rules only for "How Far Bck/Fwd" Rules)
Blank No Linking
00 Continuous Linking Only
01 - 99 Any number of days between 1 and 99.
