Definition
This is a two character numeric identifer for each Limit Rule. The Limit Rules are then available for selection when creating your Absence Evaluation Scheme rules (View Cluster V_T5GPBS23_CL).
Against each Entitlement Band rule (for a specific seniority band and age band) it is possible to define 2 Limit Rules.
The first limit rule can be used to make sure that an employee never returns to a higher payment rate part way through an absence. The first rule is processed without any warning messages being issued.
The second limit rule can be used to apply the "One Year in Four" rule. i.e. the previous 4 years are checked that the employee has not already had 1 year's entitlement of either Full or Half pay in the last four years. The second rule is processed with warning messages being issued when the limit is reached for the first time in an absence.
