Definition
The Absence Evaluation Scheme Rule allows Entitlement Payment Bands for different absence types to be grouped by Seniority (Length Of Service). The normal handling of these rules will allow a rule for Starters (i.e 0 to 5 months) then a rule for Unexperienced Employees (i.e. 5 months to 23 months) and finally a rule for Experienced Employees (i.e. 24 months to 999999 months).
N.B. The 0 to 5 months band is inclusive. So if you have worked 6 months for your employer then you will NOT qualify as a Starter, but if you have 5 months and 30 days for your employer then you WILL still qualify as a Starter!
