Definition
This is the rebate percentage assigned by the National Insurance Contributions Office (NICO).
An employer is entitled to reclaim a contracted-out rebate from the payment of NIC made to the Collector of Taxes.
The employer simply calculates 3% of the earnings between the lower earnings limit and the earnings threshold (or the lower earnings limit and the employee's earnings if earnings do not reach the earnings threshold).
This applies only to category D, E, F, G and S.
