Definition
Production of End-of-Year (EOY) report data from TemSe files
Setting the indicator Get data from external source means that EOY data is read from the specified Temporary Sequential (TemSe) files, rather than from the database. If you wish to display the P14, P60, P35 and/or P38A data, you must enter the TemSe file names in one of the following fields:
- Data Source for P60
- Data Source for P14
- Data Source for P35
- Data Source for P38A
Note: You must enter at least one TemSe file name in order to process further.
If you wish to display Magnetic Media data, you must also enter the TemSe file name in the field Data Source for MagMedia, on the EOY report selection screen.
It is possible to read data from non-SAP systems, as long as the structure adheres to the SAP standard for these files. This aspect is important if you wish to print amalgamated data from different sources within your organisation and output them via your SAP system.
