Output of End-of-Year (EOY) Report (P14/P60/P35/Magnetic Media) via ALV list output

The ALV output option allows you to print your EOY data via SAP List Viewer (ALV) technology. You can use this particular output to check the data for correctness and consistency prior to running the EOY report RPCEOYG0 in productive mode.

The ALV output displays the data in a table format. You can, for example, build subtotals, filters and define your own layout settings for this ALV data. The data is displayed for each of the forms individually. You can also switch between the display of the different lists at any time and in any order convenient to you.

For each of the ALV lists you output, you can define a display variant which defines the fields you would like to see. This variant can be entered on this screen to ensure the end user sees the data the way they would like to see it. The display can be amended interactively at a later stage, as required.

If you choose the ALV output option, the SAPScript form names are cleared. The entry of display variants for ALV output is optional. If you have not created your own variants, then default variantsare used. For example, the default setting of the ALV display variant name that contains a display of the NI related data solely is 08_SAPNI.

In order to improve the performance of report RPCEOYG0, SAP recommends that you create ALV display variants once you wish to check the results. The general rule is that the fewer fields you select for display and aggregation, the quicker the ALV output is displayed. Therefore, for example, you may wish to define a ALV display variant that only contains the NI results and accumulates over the different NI categories. The ALV allows you at any point in time to expand the list or return to the original list.

Note:

The display variants for the P14 and P60 listings are interchangeable. However, these display variants are not interchangeable with the P35 form.

Regarding the P35, SAP does not deliver a display variant for this form in the standard delivery. Therefore, you must create your own P35 display variant (using your own naming convention).
