Definition

The field contains the overall percentage absence rate for the employee, for the period you have selected.

The overall absence rate is calculated using the following standard formula:

[Number of days employee is absent / Total number of allocated working days] X 100

Note:

Number of days employee is absent is taken from the field Days.

Total number of allocated working days is taken from the field WkDys.

Example

An employee is absent for 18 days in a 52-week period. The total number of work days assigned to this employee in the 52-week period is 262. Therefore, the overall absence rate for this employee is calculated as follows:

[18 / 52] X 100

= 6.87%
