Input of Absence Reporting Data from TemSe files

You use this field to specify the TemSe file you wish to process with this program.

To read from TemSe files, enter the file name in this field.

Use

If you would like to run this program for a large number of employees and check the results, it could exceed your online run time. In this case, you may wish to run the program in batch mode and generate a TemSe file.

These files can be read at any later point in time and displayed in the ABAP List Viewer (ALV) format.

Example

You wish to run the evaluation of the data during the night in batch mode and look at the data in the morning. In this situation, you start the report by choosing Output to TemSe and the following day you start the report again reading the TemSe files using this field, and display the data via ALV .

Data is only read once in this case and can be used several times for output. As the process of gathering data and evaluating it forms the largest part of the program, this run time would be consumed if you worked in online mode.

Note: TemSe files are generally reorganised by your system administrator on a regular basis. If you wish to keep a particular set of TemSe files on a permanent basis, make sure that you have copied the files.
