Definition

The modification of the absences settlement period is ordered by an operator, a unit of expression or a duration.
The unit of expression is used to specify the means of expression for the durations that modify the absence quota settlement period.

The following units are available:

• MONTH        Month
• DAY        Day
• YEAR        Year
• CAL_DUR    Duration of absence(s) found, in calendar days
• ABS_DUR    Duration of absence(s) found, in absence days

The two last units only have significance when they are used with the absence research criteria.
They may serve to neutralize certain absences: for example, if, when an illness is treated, certain leave such as maternity leave must not be taken into account for the calculation of the settlement period, the absences may be neutralized by extending the settlement period for the duration of the maternity leave in question.
