Definition

This controls the progressive accrual of your contributions in accordance with the condition types you have defined, i.e. the progressive accrual of the moving assessment thresholds of capped contributions.

Use

Check this box to trigger the progressive accrual of your contributions.

Note for capped contributions:

If your condition is not true, this field is selected: the moving assessment threshold is calculated then stored in the RECOT table without any contribution amount. When a subsequent payroll is run, the condition is applied and the contribution and its progressive accrual are thus correctly calculated.

Example

Condition

Tranche A of your employee's contribution is only calculated if the employee has an employment period of at least one year.

In January, the condition is not true, given that the employee has an employment period of less than one year. Therefore the system does not calculate this contribution, but will calculate the assessment threshold applicable in January and will store it in the RECOT table. In February, the condition is true, as the employee has attained their first year of seniority. The system calculates the contribution for the first time, and the progressive accrual is calculated taking the results for January into account.
