With each new work stoppage, the number of days already compensated by the employer for continued pay are posted throughout a reference period referred to as the Rolling Payroll Period for absence quotas.
The start of this period is determined by any of the following:
- the first day of absence
- the last day of absence
- each day of absence (public sector only)
