Definition
Where there is a succession of work stoppages, you need to find the number of indemnities already registered for the employee during a period prior to the stoppage. This period corresponds to the settlement period for absence quotas. This must be done each time there is a new work stoppage.
The number of indemnities registered during a certain time is limited. If you wish to group different types of absences together when the previously registered indemnities are being counted, you must enter the same value in this field for the different indemnity levels. No grouping code must be assigned to the last type, which corresponds to a non-payment (when the "Not continued" indicator is entered).
Example:
- Sickness indemnity entitles employees to 30 payments equal to 90% of their pay (after a waiting period of 10 days).
- Industrial accident indemnity entitles employees to 30 payments equal to 90% of their pay.
If both types of indemnity are to be counted equally, the value entered in this field must be the same for both absence types.
If you do not wish to use this grouping, leave this field blank.
