Definition
Specifies the status of the corresponding notification. This status is used to indicate one of the following:
- The internal processing status for the notification (for example, Sent)
- The notification processing status as electronically communicated via the social insurance authorities or Arbodienst (for example, Received OK by UWV or Received with Errors)
- The external case status of the illness (for example, Rejected if the social insurance authorities have rejected the illness case)
Use
The system automatically specifies the status based on the internal or processing status for the illness.
You can manually update the status of the notification only if the electronic processing status does not match the case status for the employee. For example, an employee's illness notification may be successfully electronically processed. However, some days later you may receive a letter from the social insurance authorities to indicate that the employee's case has been rejected. If this occurs, you must manually change the status to Rejected and record the date in the Decision Date field.

Note that the notification status applies only to the corresponding notification ; for the overall status of the infotype record, refer to the Infotype Status field.
