Definition
Indicates the reason for delayed reporting of an illness to the social insurance authorities (omschrijving reden te late aanvraag uitkering).
Use
You use this field to record a reason for delayed reporting of an illness.
Note that you are legally obliged to provide the social insurance authorities with illness information as soon as possible. The timeframe depends on the work relationship between the employee and employer. You use this field when it has not been possible to fulfill this requirement.
Note that if the employee is entitled to payment for the illness, delayed reporting may result in delayed payment.

Delayed reporting of an illness may occur when, for example, an employee has been too ill to provide the employer with notification of their illness.
