Definition
Specifies the type of notification reported to the social insurance authorities or Arbodienst.
Use
The system automatically specifies the notification type based on the processing progress for the type of notification and associated Customizing.
You can manually update the status of the notification only if the electronic processing status does not match the case status for the employee or if the notification is obsolete.
Dependencies
You can refer to the change and user information for the notification to determine whether the system or a user has updated the notification or notification status. A user may have manually updated the line item to reflect non-electronic correspondence from the social insurance authorities.
Example
For example, an employee's illness notification may be successfully electronically processed. However, some days later you may receive a letter from the social insurance authorities to indicate that the employee's illness case has been rejected. If this occurs, you must manually change the status to Rejected and record the date in the Decision Date field.
