Documentation
Definition
Specifies the processing and reporting status for the Illness Reporting: Details (3250) infotype record and corresponding illness notifications.
Use
You use the infotype status to determine the processing and reporting status for the infotype record.
The system automatically assigns the following statuses to records of Illness Reporting: Details (3250) infotype:
- New: when the infotype record is created or copied. This status applies when the infotype record is first created but not processed.
- Processed: when the corresponding illness notification is reported to the social insurance authorities or Arbodienst.
- Changed: to indicate that a previously reported illness (or illness notification) has been changed.
You can manually change the infotype status in the following cases:
- Changed: only if you have made a data entry error that you have immediately corrected. Note that you cannot manually enter the status New for an infotype record.
- Closed: to indicate that an existing illness record has been closed and no further processing is expected. You can assign a Closed status as follows:
- When informed by the social insurance authorities (for example, that the case is closed) and the corresponding notification has been received (for example, Received OK by UWV).
- When informed by the employee (for example, that the employee has recovered).
- Obsolete: to indicate that a new infotype record should not be included in the illness reporting processing. You can assign an obsolete status as follows:
- When you do not want to process a new record of the Illness Reporting: Details (3250) infotype (that means, a record with status New), as the associated illness must not to be reported to the social insurance authorities.
Dependencies
You cannot delete illness records of the Illness Reporting: Details (3250) infotype, but you can cancel them. You do this by deleting the corresponding record of the Absences (2001) infotype. For more information about cancelling illness notifications, see the documentation of the Record Cancelled checkbox.
