Definition
Specifies the date of a case decision regarding an employee's illness or illness case. Case decisions are communicated from the social insurance authorities (UWV) to the employer.
Note that decision dates do not apply to Arbodienst correspondence.
Use
You use this field to specify the date of a case decision regarding an employee illness, received from the social insurance authorities (UWV). Case decisions may be communicated via letters or emails. Note that dates of telephone conversations are not binding; correspondence must be auditable and traceable.
You specify a decision date only if the following criteria are met:
- The electronic processing status does not match the case status for an employee
- The UWV has provided more information regarding the status of an employee's case
Dependencies
Example
For example, an employee's illness message may be successfully electronically processed. However, some days later you may receive a letter from the social insurance authorities to indicate that the employee's case has been rejected. If this occurs, you must manually change the status to Rejected and record the date in the Decision Date field.
