Definition
If all three countries of birth are/are not classified as target group countries under the Employment of Minorities (Promotion) Act [Wet SAMEN], it means that the employee does/does not belong to the target group of the Employment of Minorities (Promotion) Act.
If one or two countries of birth are classified as target group countries under the Employment of Minorities (Promotion) Act, the employee is free to choose whether or not he or she wishes to belong to the target group of the Employment of Minorities (Promotion) Act.
The limited self-identification method has been incorporated into the Employment of Minorities (Promotion) Act as a conscession for those employees who object to being classified one way or another under the Employment of Minorities (Promotion) Act.
