Definition

Using this field, you can indicate whether an employee works part-time in accordance with the Tax Authority's definition. Anyone who regularly works less than five days a week is considered a part-time employee. Someone who works nine hours a day, four days a week, works part-time, while someone who works two hours a day, five days a week, is full-time employee.

Starting in 2008, the part-time status will play a role in a number of situations in calculating the tax and social insurance premium.
