Definition
This is where you enter the total costs for childcare if the employer does not provide day-care facilities. In other words, this is the amount specified on the invoice of the day-care center or organization. Do not deduct the employee's contribution; this should be deducted in the next field.
If the payroll period and the period to which the invoice is applicable are not consistent, a proportional amount must be entered.
No entry must be made if the employer provides day-care facilities or finances childcare by means of a fund. In this case the corresponding checkbox (employer provides childcare) must be selected.
