Definition

Indicates if the employee was previously a social benefits recipient (PMA) and as such, is entitled to a premium exemption.

Use

You can select this checkbox if the PMA criteria are fulfilled as follows:

Employee criteria

  • The employee was previously a recipient of social benefits or welfare payments or (as of January 1st, 2011) had the right to IOW benefits (Wet inkomensvoorziening oudere werklozen).
  • The employee's contract is not longer than six consecutive weeks.

Employer criteria

  • The employer has no prior work relationship with the employee in the calendar year.
  • You or another employer have not already applied for a PMA premium exemption (for this employee) in the calendar year.
