Documentation
Definition
Indicates the pay-out rule applied if an employee leaves the company.
Use
You can select one of the following pay-out rules: standard period, last active period, delayed, or not at all.
If the pay-out is delayed, you must also define the number of periods that the payment is delayed.
Dependencies
When an employee leaves the company, calculations of their payments are completed on the basis of their last active period.
If the Same Calculation Period as Normal Calculation Period checkbox is selected, calculations are instead based on the period in the Calculation Period field and the settings in the Calculation of Pay-out Amount screen area.
Example
An employee leaves the company in April, however, the 13th month salary is paid in December. The rule selected impacts the pay-out timing as follows:
- Standard period, the pay-out occurs in December (8 months after leaving)
- Last active period, the pay-out occurs in March (a month before leaving)
- Delayed, the pay-out is delayed according to the number of periods defined for the delay
- Not at all, the pay-out does not take place
