Definition
Corporate groups that consist of more than one withholding agent can request to be regarded as a cohesive group.
This helps to simplify processes and/or offer advantages within a corporate group.
The government defines a corporate group as:
"A cohesive group of withholding agents as determined by a decision of the Dutch Tax Authority".
As of January 1, 2006, as part of the Save-As-You-Earn scheme, it is no longer necessary to suspend saving when changing employer within a corporate group.
Since January 1, 2007, as part of the Day-one Announcement (EDM), it is not necessary to submit an EDM when changing employer within a corporate group.
