Definition
If the amount withdrawn is higher than the amount saved, it results in a negative life-course account balance. This can be made up by saving. However, the interest due to the financial institution for the negative balance may not be deducted from the employee's taxable wage and therefore does not belong to the savings amount. The interest amount is set off against the employee's net wage.
