Use
In the event of a registration (record type 50) as a result of death, enter the deceased's first name in this field.

Use
When creating a change notification (record type 52) you only make an entry in this field if you want to correct the deceased's first name.
Dependencies
If you make an entry in this field, the system sets the Deceased's 1st Name inidiator in the Other SI-Related Data Changes and marks the field as changed on the ELDA notification.
