Definition

The type of statement is only relevant if you create a form for productive use. If you create a form for display or a test form, the system ignores this choice.

Procedure

Choose the following types of statements:

  • Original statement

The report creates statements for the selected, authorized employees for whom no original statement is stored.

When you print the original statements, the system stores them in the table T5A9A (Generated Employment Statements (A)) under the value O (original statement).

  • Duplicate

The report generates duplicates for the selected, authorized employees for whom an original statement is stored. (The system rejects employees for whom no original statement is stored in table T5A9A).

The system takes the data for the duplicate from the original without updating it. Duplicates are always identified as such.

You can generate an unlimited number of duplicates for an employee. However, you must enter a different date in the field Date of issue for each duplicate.

When you print duplicates, the system stores them in the table T5A9A under the value Z (duplicates).

  • Correcting mistakes

If you find mistakes on an original statement, correct the mistake in the master data. If you want to print a corrected form, choose this field.

The report generates a new "Original Statement" with the corrected data. However, the statement is only issued if the data differs from that of the previous statement.

Employees for whom no original statement is stored in the table T5A9A are rejected.

When you print the corrected statements, the system stores them in table T5A9A under the value O (original statement). The corrected (former) original statement obtains the value S (cancelled).
