Documentation
Definition
When converting an absence, the system first attempts to use the preferred absence type. For the conversion, the system first uses the preferred absence type (P03_AWART_PREF). The system instead uses the alternative absence type specified here only if errors occur during the conversion process.
Use
The alternative absence type is optional. If you do not specify an alternative absence type and cannot convert the absence to the preferred absence type, report RPCKSBA0_MAT terminates processing of the personnel number in question when an error occurs.
Dependencies
Example
In the event of a missing illness notification, the system is supposed to convert absences for which the original absence type is Illness (0300) to the preferred absence type Entitled Leave (0100). If, for whatever reason, this is not possible (because not enough leave days are available, for example), the system should instead convert the absence to the absence type Unpaid Leave at Expense of EE (0700).
