Definition
This indicator shows whether a wage type has already been reduced if there is an absence.
Use
An absence that generates a social insurance split is entered.
In addition, there is a wage type without an SI split, which is used in the extended SI calculation for the public sector. This wage type must be distributed across the SI splits. You use this indicator to decide how the wage type is to be distributed across the SI splits and in particular to the absence SI split.
The wage type can exist in two different ways:
- The wage type was not reduced for the absence. In this case, the wage type is distributed across all available SI split periods. In this case, the indicator must not be set in view V_T5APBS07.
- The wage type was reduced for the absence. In this case, the wage type cannot be distributed to the absence split, only to the other available SI splits. With this wage type, the indicator must be set in view V_T5APBS07.
Example
There is a wage type with EUR 300 and without SI split.
In April, there is an absence from April 11 to 20 that generates an SI split. As a result, there are 3 SI splits:
SI split 01: April 1-10
SI split 02: April 11-20 Absence
SI split 03: April 21-30
- Variant 1: The indicator for reduced wage type was not set in view V_T5APBS07. The wage type is not reduced, that is, the EUR 300 relate to both the absence period and the other periods. In processing, the wage type is distributed to the SI splits as follows:
SI split 01: April 1-10 EUR 100
SI split 02: April 11-20 EUR 100
SI split 03: April 21-30 EUR 100 - Variant 2: The indicator for reduced wage type was set in view V_T5APBS07. The wage type is therefore already reduced for the absence, which means that the EUR 300 do not affect the absence period. In processing, the wage type is distributed to the SI splits as follows:
SI split 01: April 1-10 EUR 150
SI split 02: April 11-20 EUR 0
SI split 03: April 21-30 EUR 150
