Definition

The reference date is used together with the processing control as follows:

  • Processing selection (method variant), if several time-dependent processings are defined;
  • Selection of time-dependent table entries (PC parameter), for example, contribution rates;
  • Within the current processing the reference date can have a particular meaning (for example, credit at a key date, selection of infotypes etc.). You can find more information regarding the significance of the start date for the current processing from the info button call up documentation.
