Definition

The parallel processing variant determines in which system/application server the execution of the current report is distributed, and where the result is processed.

More exactly: When parallel processing, the report is started in several systems with the scheduler RPMREP00, with so-called RFC destinations. After these reports have finished the data creation, they return the determined data to the calling program. A RFC destination is also used here.

You must specify these RFC destinations when calling up the scheduler. The parallel processing variant enables, per Customizing, the definition of the necessary RFC destinations as default values when you call up the scheduler.
